Under Microsoft's agreement with Sun Microsystems, you can still download the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (MJVM), and Microsoft is allowed to support the software until December 31, 2007. The MJVM was included in previous versions of Windows and used to run Java applets and applications in Internet Explorer. Windows XP originally included it, but XP SP1a and SP2 do not include it and it is not included in Windows Server 2003 (if you already have the MJVM on XP, installing the service packs does not remove it). If you need the MJVM, you can download it at:
http://www.wxpnews.c...d=060117TI-Java and you can learn more about it by clicking on the FAQ link on that site.

What microsoft will do in the FAR FAR future is either start things from scratch and make them independent or increase their companions in the world and put themselves out there.

That could be a good thing or a bad thing though Karl, good to see them advance themselves and possibly make it better, but that's another step towards monopolization

There will always be a choice, right now i prefer MS over any other and i have tried the alternatives as you all know.
I am not scared.
