I think although it was a good effort, the playstation was the new thing. Sad really cos i loved my Sega consoles i had in the past.

Actually, I think Sega died even earlier...

Hmm, I don't think it was the death of sega, but it's more of people were looking to something new, I loved the sega consoles at the time they were created they were ahead of their time. And when playstation came in, it was just amazing.

No i agree sphere, things were looking bad but the Dreamcast was their last attempt to hit back and gain some ground. That went wrong for them and its sad :)
