Hi all!

Its been a while since sending out our last newsletter, but never fear, I’ve finally found some time to update you all on what has been going on over at http://www.x64bit.net .

We’ve updated our skins, increased the font size for easier reading, http://www.x64bit.ne...php?act=uportal Added a sponsor group, have made commenting to news posts and submitting to your favorite news site as simple as a click. Stop on by and let us know how we’re doing.

Since our last newsletter, Vista has finally been released, and ServicePack 1 for Vista is just around the corner. In fact, Beta should be starting any day now. If you haven’t stopped by lately, come and see all the data we’ve compiled on Vista 32bit http://www.x64bit.ne...p?showforum=120 and Vista 64bit http://www.x64bit.ne...p?showforum=121 .

Not a Vista user?? Fear not, we have a lot of goodies in store for you in our XP forums. Just take a look at some of the tips and tricks we’ve come up with, including information on new drivers, what patches work, and what patches to avoid, Customization, Discussions on DirectX 10 on XP Partitioning a windows system to run your favorite Linux distro using “Wubi”. Take a browse around in our XP 32bit forums http://www.x64bit.ne...hp?showforum=70 and our XP 64bit forums located http://www.x64bit.ne...hp?showforum=65 here.

Looking to get your feet wet in a Linux distro? So did I, but I didn’t want to mess up my Windows partition or Windows. I must say, we have found a program for a novice like myself, who has never had a Linux distro on a computer. Let me tell you, with Wubi, Kubuntu installed itself, and I’m really getting to like Kubuntu. Come learn about Wubi and see what others are saying about it http://www.x64bit.ne...?showtopic=4352 here.

Of course being a member of our site doesn’t mean just having to listen and post about tech talk and hardware, come over to our x64bit café and browse some humorous youtube flicks we’ve managed to dig up http://www.x64bit.ne...?showtopic=3908 , talk about your pet http://www.x64bit.ne...?showtopic=3537 show us where you are on this little planet http://www.x64bit.ne...?showtopic=3873 or introduce yourself, and make a bunch of friends real quickly http://www.x64bit.ne...hp?showforum=63 Also keep up to date with those friends in the Generations 2.1 forum http://www.x64bit.ne...?showtopic=3660 here.

Lastly, since the last newsletter, our folding team was ranked in the 3000 mark. I would like to personally thank all our folding team members who have helped x64bit move up into the top 600 rank. If you’re not currently helping us lead to a cure for many diseases. To join, simply go to http://folding.stanf...u/download.html and download the appropriate client and follow the installation instructions. Use your chosen username and team number 51370. For more information and discussion, see the http://www.x64bit.ne...p?showforum=116 Folding Forums.

Until next time, Happy surfing,
