Its been pretty usefull, provides some control over what apps do with your autorun and Shell Extensions.

As far as Microsoft Anti-Spyware goes, I tried out, and uninstalled it. It missed several legitimate pieces of spyware I had on a test system, and flagged severl benign files as spyware. Between the false positives and the missed known spyware, I couldn't recommend it for my own use, let alone for the company I was testing it for.
