I've bought today my first HD4850 and in a few weeks I'll buy another one to set up my crossfire system...
Cant wait ! I think I'll easily hit 20000 points in 3DMark06 when I have them crosfired !

I've also got an Athlon64 X2 4200+ for my other rig and for the next month maybe I buy an used 7600GT AGP too.

So, now i have an 8800GTS and an Athlon64 3000+ for sale.

Mmmh, if the 8800GTS was 640MB maybe I would've been interested. Don't want to mess with having two cards with different memory. Two 8800GTS 640MB in SLi with my Opty would pretty much max out the possibilities on my actual system. Although it's a lot of money for what I use it for lol...

Dude, I did the exact same thing!!! I have a 8800GTS 640mb EVGA card I want to get rid of as well because I also bought a HD4850 this week. That is kinda freaky man!!! Stop being a copy cat lol.

SLI / Crossfire = a complete and utter waste of money!

Unless your interested in 3DMark figures for 'boasting' rights, I see no point. All that extra heat too, no thanks. :scara:

Hope your happy with your purchace V :chriso:

I can have mine running at full on 1680x1050 on the 320meg version of the GTS. Maybe my 8gig of system ram helps but I'm doubting it'll make that much difference when it comes to graphics

I thought the same when I couldn't use SLI with more than one monitor. :chriso:

But soon you will be able to use multi-monitor drivers using the new drivers Nvidia is releasing.

So now I am re-thinking getting another card and running SLI again. :scara:
