i'm thinking of using an addon dvd codec/app (other than the default vista one). anyone with success/failure stories/comments? i'm used to intervideo products (windvd), but the cyberlink (powerdvd) also looks good

(not a nero fan here, though i could rethink my position )
atm, powerdvd is doing well in vista. all my funky divx vids look great, not to mention the audio is super. i think i'll keep powerdvd on for a bit
