OK, after burning another disk i could install x86 version on my laptop. :D

Will now install on my x86 desktop machine... Some comments later...

---------------------------------
~update~

Now i have it on two of my computers. Basic stuff works fine:
* AutoCAD 2007, Office 2007 B2 (not the Technical Refresh), Corel Graphics Suite, TrendMicro Internet Suite 14 and so on .......

Unfortunatly Nero Burning ROM still has compatibility probs. :chriso:
At least, after a very long 18 minute install, Sonic DigitalMedia Plus v7 works ! :gutar:

i'm gonna put the 5600 back on, i'll just either fiddle with the MS burner, or install another app. the 57+ version
is wacky on file transfer times, and the like...at least for me it was.

You see, i tell you all not to upgrade, now will you listen?

Build 5728 didn't want to work and after a few hours of upgrading from my existing RC1 build 5600 I just kept seeing the good old BSOD - Blue Screen of Death.

The Vole advised us to uninstall this build so we did. And eventually we managed to boot our Vista RC1 5600 without any issues.

To summarise the latest build, build 5728 didn’t work. If you still want to burn some time and DVDs, be my guest and do it. And, if you don’t mind, please drop me a line and let me know what was your experience with it. If you don’t want to experiment and want a working Vista, I advise you to get the Vista RC1 5600.

but after doing a clean install...
