some of those features arent even implimented yet... the idea of VHD's is very new so to see it implimented means its faked or they arent telling us things.

Windows 7 to add native support for Virtual Hard Disks

Quote

Out of what little we know of the next version of Windows, this feature might just be the most interesting yet. A team at Microsoft is hiring developers to work on adding native support in Windows 7 for Virtual Hard Disks (VHD) - Microsoft’s semi-proprietary specification for single-file virtual machine hard disks.

Yes, hiring developers meaning they dont have a working product yet. They wouldnt impliment that as early as M1 or even M2 simply because the code base could change dramatically.

On another note :roadrunner: Channel 9 has confirmed its fake

I was just there and didn't see anything. But maybe we will find out more at the D6 Conference.

In the mean time, Real or Fake?

i was confirming the videos legitimacy not saying the whole thing didnt exist. Depending on the build in that screenshot it could very well be in place. But you also fail to see that Windows Server 2008 does indead have Hyper V which stores its images as vhd's just like virtual pc does.
