Found this out and about!! Have a link from jcxp if anyone is interested.

This is Internet Explorer 7 Build 5299, which is labelled as "Beta 2 Preview". This is not necessarily (and almost definetely not) the actual final Beta 2 build, that we should see some time in Feb.

Installation Instructions:
1) Open the testroot.cer file and click on "Install Certificate"
2) Follow the Wizard, making sure that you let the wizard automatically select the certificate store
3) Run IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe !

I thought this will fix it but I gess not lol... (screen shot one) and when I try installing it I get this (screen shot two)Attached File  ie7_error_1.JPG   13.18K   54 downloadsAttached File  ie7_error.JPG   15.7K   53 downloads

Would anyone know how to fix this? It's not really all that inportant it's just something that I would like to have and if you don't know how to do it that's fine because I need to reformat my computer anyway when I get a new hard drive or RAM (or both if the price is right).

Mr. Badguy, there is no beta out there that is 100% okay to install, there is always a risk, BUT you can always use Maxthon :cigar:.

yeah, i know alot of people who really like maxthon over using FF. i haven't tried, but it does sound
intriguing.

yes yes :cigar: it's really nice, if FF offered the same as Maxthon I'd use FF, but I like being able to close out of the browser and it remember the pages I had open when I exited.
