If you haven't heard of this awesome little program.......its good! :davex:

Tired of having to disable the same services every time you do an update or a reinstall?......Well no more!

You install Windows XP and then manually disable all those "trustworthy" services with funny names like "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" or "Automatic Updates" and other material. HOWEVER....next time you do a windows update or after a reinstall.....they are up running again!!

Now you can disable all services you don't want to have......run Pserv and save your settings as an XML file (menu Templates\Export as XML). Then......when you want to get your settings back......choose Templates\Apply XML template. A dialog will show all changes suggested to your current service configuration.

That's not all! Pserv allows you to view/edit/uninstall these services.

And there is more! Pserv allows all of the above for Devices....Processes and Modules as well.

Application......System and Security Events can be viewed in detail also.

Very small program added to Control Panel :yahoo:

BTW! It works in Vista too :yahoo:

Go Get!
