A quick review on my thoughts on Apple's newest tablet, I have the 32Gb WiFi only model.

The G/F. Main use, online shopping, web surfing and the occasional game. She loves the new ipad for browsing the web and pictures appear sharp and very clear. She adores Facebook (lol) and loves it on this screen. Angry Birds is her game, and happy she is with that on here lol.

Me. I have always hated the restrictive nature of Apple products, but I have got to say that it really don't matter in this case. Gaming is just superb and to die for on the HD screen, social networking a breeze, email is fantastic and actually fun to use for the first time lol, Dictation on iOS 5 has come a long way, and is actually useable, and output options to TV are just superb. It oozes quality from the minute you open the box to holding it in your hands, even the packaging reeks of good thinking and design. Fast, very responsive, and watching YouTube is an experience to behold (which I do daily) as I subscribe to many on there, so well worth it for me.

All in all, will I convert? No. But this device is just a dream to own and use.

+ Awesome screen
+ Awesome outputs
+ Reeks of quality
+ Superb Customer Service

- iTunes tied
- Expensive
- No jailbreak as yet

8.7/10

rik...his haggis bag has broken. he indeed needs a 'jailbreak'... :(
and remember: "good thinking and design" begins with foxconn 'employees' jumping to their deaths. with a subscription, of course...

I can hear pipes in the distance lol, but enough of that for now. My iPad developed a little problem, as in, a little light was showing through the side, looking closer I saw an inch of the surface that didn't meet the screen properly, never really bothered me up until I noticed it really. It started to bug me though, as I knew it was there lol, so on the phone I got to Apple, who right away told me to hang up the phone and called me back within seconds. I explained the problem and they booked me in today for an appointment at the Apple Store, which is 2 hours drive away from me, fair enough, I need my iPad lol :giggle: Upon arriving, they looked at my device and never once questioned my reasons. It was replaced new and boxed, with the Guarantee reset to today. I ain't had the time to look it over properly, but with that service, I sure ain't got any worries.

Superb Customer Service, from start to finish, but I suppose you get what you pay for lol ;) (updating review score). Let the pipes commence :)

Will power, Michael, will power... resistance is not futile! I've almost gotten rid of all of the Macs here at work...
They make wonderful boat anchors and door stops.

That ain't right. You can turn everything off and just use as a bog standard camera, so something's not set right.

Yes, I can see how confusing that may be to the iOS system, she shows them, and it don't understand how small they are, so basically 'nothing' to interpret? Can I suggest a Wonderbra? as the camera can be very picky sometimes :giggle:
