>> During CPU test (Red Valley) the frame rate was extremely low, i thought something was going wrong ! Is this normal ? ? ?
Anyway most benchmarks w/ 8800s are in the 8000 - 9000 range, so i'm happy with my toy
lets put our scores here

yeah, that's normal. I think RJ is the only person who has seen that test at 45fps.

I've been watching the prices and various weekly rebates on NCIX.com and TigerDirect.ca for the 8800 GTS 640MB for like 2 months now (I was hoping the AMD/ATI cards launch would make the nVidia prices drop) and I still haven't decided to pick one yet. But soon... soon I shall buy one and beat all of your scores! (If my CPU is not too much of a bottleneck that is...)

Core @ 560 MHz
Memory @ 1700 MHz
On Load GFX Temp ~ 77ºC
3DM06 Score: 8710
OCed:
Core @ 640 MHz (+14,3 %)
Memory @ 1800 MHz (+5,9 %)
On Load GFX Temp ~ 85ºC
3DM06 Score: 9659 (+10,9 %)
I've seen some reports of 8800GTS core @ 647 and mem @ 1870 (935), but i'm afraid of going further with stock cooling... also with core @ 645 and mem @ 1820 (910) some strange black lines started to appear on the screen during gameplay
I am satisfied with this mark

Very nice scores my friend!! The performance difference between nVidia's 8*** series and the 7*** series is incredible. That 8800 is a nice card, eh?

F.E.A.R. is a great game! Plus, it's pretty freaky on the PC. I think you'll love it vrosa! I've played it to the end 3 times and have fun everytime. Hope you enjoy it!
