while the previous preview releases of win8 haven't done anything for me, i really did like the mild gui enhancements like the squared widow edges, and the all around 'lightness' of the non metro desktop. looks like our own Vishal has put up a neat, very nice win8 gui for win7, xp, etc.

there is also a link on that page to the auto patcher. works a charm and adds a bit of freshness to a win7 install.
