I've been using Newsrover for a while and have experienced some strange issues from time to time.

Have now switched to alt.binz and whilst initially not as 'friendly', has many more options that make it a joy to use. To name a few;
- download scheduling
- easy (1 click) speed limiting
- option NOT to download PAR files by default
- create subfolders & download / unpack into them
- automatic unRAR of files
- link to many search engines including newsleecher, TVNZB XPAT & others

Very nice app and is genuine freeware - try it and see.
