No really, a friend of mine has a friend at M$.
My friend was talking about building a new system.
His M$ friend suggested he hold off till August.
Suppose that's the AM3 date?
Quad Core?
Vista SP2?
Anyone heard any similar grumbles? Or guesses??

Well Quad Core is well active now and doing rather crap ..........why?........because nothing can take advantage of it........ 
As for Vista SP2.........LOL..........I'd hold off till August yes........but August 2008
(by then SP23 will be out and may bring it up to usability?)

??? it is the sweet MS OS man. vista run mighty smooth. and yeah, not much quad debauchery as yet...

I'm kind of hoping the dude had some knowledge of cool things to come.
He was the same guy that suggested holding off on the original 360's due to heat related issues
that I didn't listen to.
