ok all, heres my problem. For the past 5 nights, between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 PM my internet goes out. Calling Charter Cable the first time led me to believe i had a dead router. After fumbling around with online support for about 20 minutes, i connected my PC directly into the modem and got connected. The night after, i was out, but when i came home, i noticed my computers saying the internet connection is now established. Last night, at about 10:15 my internet took a dump again. after doing a reset and renew i was able to reconnect. i looked at my lease for my IP address and found it to renew today at 10:24. see my screenshot.

Here is my cable modem showing my lease expiring but active:

Here are pings to our site with my lease in its final moments (please notice the clock in all pictures)

now precisely at 10:25, this is what happens to my Charter Internet Service:

What gives?? I call Charter, they have me do a reset of the modem, and everything is back on but i cant grab a new lease unless i reset the modem. Is this on my end or theirs???

Also, my support help was more insistant with me signing up with their VoIP and cable television than he was helpful in resolving my problem. They are sending out a technician between the hours of 8:00AM and 12:00PM tomorrow to fix a problem that happens at 10:00 pm - 11:00 every night. Go figure
