Recently, I've set up a server (server 2003 R2) running as a domain controller (with Active Directory). I have enabled automatic DNS, so it assigned an IP to the domain name I created during the configuration.
Now, I'm trying to connect to the remote server using Remote Desktop Connection. I want to be able to access the server by typing its domain name instead of the IP adress (which changes often). However, it does not work. I get a typical window stating that the connection cannot be established. If I type the IP adress, it works fine, but not the domain name.

Last, if I try to use Remote Desktop Connection locally, then it works fine, but can't get it to connect from the LAN or the Internet.
I've been also using Remote Desktop Web Connection with IIS to connect to my machine from a web browser. By entering the domain name in the URL, it works fine; I can connect through the WWW, but still not directly through Remote Desktop.
Thanks in advance!
