thats very cool information, however it tells how to install when you are running ubuntu as the host machine, most windows users will want to have windows as the host machine an ubuntu as the guest.

In this case its easy.

1- Turn the VM on.
2- Capture "Feisty Fawn" ISO or physical drive.
3- Start Ubuntu in Safe Graphics Mode (recommended for VirtualPC).
4- Install Ububtu.
5- Enjoy.

:coffee1: I had to tweak it a little (set it to Ubuntu x64, 1gb of ram). Installed great (and i didn't use the safe graphics mode-but i usually do out of practice with my linux installs).

Any questions ask Camaro! :chriso:

Hey if you are lazy and dont want to go through the hassle of actually installing Ubuntu in VMware there are images available that you can mount and instantly have Ubuntu up and running. I have done this but only once it does work if anyone is interested. I dont use VMware anymore but it is simple, just double click cd-rom and check use image or ISO (something like that) and browse to the image you downloaded and presto ubuntu is up and running! :chriso: Nother tip Ubuntu in command line or text mode is much faster but you must like working in the dark!!! :chriso:
