It is, I wont deny that.

But have any of you noticed that with W7 your system has lost its personality?

it's a box with a bunch of wires and stuff in it. i still get "my videos", etc. if that's what you mean. a personal os, to me, is one that does what i want, and this does, to the point of installing xp drivers because i pressed the wrong link...lol

Interesting, a Dell is a box with a bunch of wires and stuff in it. It too can still get "your videos", etc. but it doesn't have your computers personality.

I generally find installing a OS is a clean slate, but the PC tends to inherit a personality. Dealing with 7 systems a day, you quickly learn what each system likes and dislikes. With W7, it has more of a terminal feel to it. It feels cold

:christo: Now that is an interesting analogy. Pretty insightful.

Anyone notice on build 7022, when you disable 'Search/Indexing' (as I like to do) it removes the 'search box' from the start menu, completely? I do not like that! :yahoo: As if its 'forcing' one to use this feature. ;)

heck, if you just labeled the folder "donkey pr0n" in the beginning, you wouldn't have to search for it so often... :christo:
