Yeah some of the programm's came in conflict with each other, and removed files that were not supposed to be removed.

i been using windows onecare and antispyware now defender for about a year..so far no problems with my computer (knocks on wood) but i do plan to do a clean install oneday in the next month or 2 but no hurry..lol its running smooth :P

See i would say onecare is a nightmare. It blocked mysql from working that i'd installed locally on my lan. :P

You had the same problem huh? My homemate can't access our server or router anymore since he installed onecare. Removing didn't help, so he formatted

Dang, thats scares me about onecare. And yeah, I always try to dualboot if possible. I dont want to mess anything up by saying this, but I hardly ever get anything like this. Just becareful where you go and be very observant of everything.

Ah hell, Linoman, we've all had that prb. at one time or many others, [lol], that's the fun of trying different things on these comps. It's all part of the game, besides that, makes the machine run alot faster, starting from scratch, lmao... :)

We'd just pimped it out, new Logon Screen, theme e.t.c and then that!
