I am gonna try this in a minute, i will let you know how it goes.

Firstly i will get either my XP/LH/Server disc and make it smaller with Nlite and remove the bulk from the install.

Then i will use Bart's PE builder to make it a live disc.

The result should be a small live disc thats without bulk.

Right, firstly i ain't taking screenshots just now but it replaces the WHOLE GUI with one thats almost non-existant, and its fast as hell even though its a live disc.

I see this being a great option if you really need to recover something from a hard-drive or EVEN possibly a network as it will pick up the LAN card if its a default XP/Server one.

Good luck perfecting it. Ya gotta share once you get it working well. It would be neat to make something like this myself. If only time grew on trees.
