ok, this is an old trick but i like to bring it up anyways...

to do this in xp/2k, you need to make two files.

1. OEMINFO.INI - this will do into the system folder in the windows directory and you should make it look like this...

[GENERAL]
Manufacturer= you
Model= model

[Support Information]
Line1= blah blah
Line2= blah blah
Line3= blah blah


ok, once you have done that you can now do a picture!!

OEMLOGO.BMP - same directory 120x120px MAX

this should contain your chosen logo...

finished product.....!!!

Yeah. I love everything to do with tweaking and custimizing. I've done this before, but not with the images.

if you want to change the image only you still have to have an oeminfo.ini file in there for it to work

lol, we cant access the system properties where i went to school so it wouldnt matter!

LOL, see, they block off the control panel also, but I just make a shortcut to control.exe and i can bypass it...and the hard drive folders are just hidden, not locked off. :)

lol, our school is meda paranoid after people used privoxy, tor and portable firefox to bypass the internet proxy system so pretty much everything is locked down, lol

You people only need access to notepad and you could create batch files to load stuff up, i have one at home that loads system properties, sending messages over a network e.t.c

All is cool :)
