... as it's the introductions thread I'd like to introduce to you our new bundle of joy Isabel:

She was only 22 hours old in the first two pics and two days old in the third. There were actually a few complications during the birth. First her umbilical cord was tight around her neck during the delivery which is never good. I was standing there and saw the whole thing. My heart damn near stopped when I saw the cord around her neck. It was tough not to freak out (didn't want to alarm Carla).
Anyways the docs sorted that problem out only to find her shoulder was stuck and stopping her from popping out fully so the doc had to stick his hand in there and free her. If there's one thing a girl doesn't like it's a hand going in when there's a baby coming out!!!!
Then after Isabel finally came out she wasn't breathing (probably because of the umbilical cord) so the docs had to connect her to a machine to breath for her. After 15 minutes of the machine they took her off it but she still wasn't breathing proper. In the docs words "It was to much of an effort for her to breath in" but he said they'd leave her with her mother and check back in an hour.
Which they did and gave her the all clear.
Two days later we were all home, happy and healthy so it was all good in the end. So there you have the birth story of Isabel. Frightened the shite out of us but it all truned out great in the end.

Oh yeah, and she was 8 pounds 10 ounces at birth. Big child but more so if you seen the size of her mother (tiny little thing she is).

I'll post more pictures soon. To frikkin tired now :chriso:

Dude I would've freaked out a lot too! :chriso: Making me doubt wanting to have children... No actually I do want children some day, but obviously not before a big bunch of years. And I sincerely hope it will come out of my actual girlfriend's belly. :clarky:

Anyways congrats for the beautiful girl, I'm sure you'll take good care of her. And you know, "care" doesn't include "firearm". :giggle:

Congrats Dave! There is nothing that can turn a Daddy's heart like a little girl. When she walks up, roll those eyes at you, and says..."Daddy", nothing else seems to matter at that moment. Again, many congratulations...Bill. :chriso:
