Imagine my surprise when i went to open a can of corn and inside there was something totally different. How can this happen??

As a general rule, not too much into canned goods unless I canned them myself. Course, canning by myself is usually done just with salsa and with mason jars so it may be "jarring" to some people. Ha! Haha! Hahaha. ahem. *cough*

This is weird though, just had a conversation yesterday with a friend of mine where she was extolling the virtues of commercially-canned goods and, really, don't want any part of it. Especially soup.

Maybe the forum can weigh-in on something similar---I contend that any type of foodstuff that is spreadable should never be ingested as a standalone food product. I include licking the spoon of a spreadable. Including frosting if you're baking a cake. Thoughts?
