We know that since XP, technology, ideas and other things have moved on. Have we?

Aero, Sidebar and other cool stuff. Vista looks good.

XP came, compared to 2000 it looked good and even better 90% of pc's then could run it and quite fast. Vista means a lot of us will need to upgrade.

Which is best? Why?

honestly what all is new besides the added Windows defender and Aero and all that Visual stuff? When it comes down to it, it's just a XP with "plus" right?

I think we focus too much on that. We now have indexing and virtual folders and things like that, but does that benefit the everyday computer user?

I think the question derrive much deeper

I think Vista is build a little more solid than XP because its built on 2003 core. Also im seeing some really tight integration with WMP, Active sync and Burning CD/DVD's

I dont think it will be more stable than XP.
I think Vista is like it says for the Vista(view).
It looks a lot better than XP with all that beautyfull glass and visual stuff on it.
It just makes us more depending on Microsoft with all of that ** Security**Stuff on it.
No I think after the installation of servicepack 3 (witch will come together with the release of Vista) XP will be at least as good as Vista maybe even better.
Thats why my vote is NO in this poll.

well lets think we can save ourselves hundreds of dollars and use the 3rd party stuff to make XP look like Vista and take our SP3 and be happy.... that's probably what I'll do till I can find a **Cough** torrent :D
