Thanks to Microsoft for letting me evaluate this build 5472. When first installed, plan on seeing new and exciting features. The hour glass is gone, replaced with a circular ring spinning, Flip works and the quality is much better. Hide your desktop icons also hides your build number. The longer it runs on your system the faster it fets. Also my system rating improved by a half point. I am now at a 3.5 :( Genuine Advantage registeres with no problem. Ok enough of my chat, take a look for yourself!

I'll post more info and screenies when i discover new things :(

Tell me!!
Why do you insist on using the "Wannabe IE7" when you have an accually working version of IE7 ?
Ofc i'm speaking of Firefox..
And why do you show us "POWER-DVD" and not WMP 11 beta ?..
And then you just take alot of scr, of backgrounds.. well couldnt you instead have posted the background so we could accually use it for our wallpaper?

What about description of how it goes?

And dont give me crap like, you still cant play games and ****, coz if thats the fact, then its you not installing on the correct motherboard and searching the web long enough for drivers.

Vista_5342 could play 80% of all games i tested.. Running almost as good or even better then WinXP
only prob was the Picture Viewer, it always crashed explorer, and some minor bugs.

:( :medieval: :( :D

Uh, he doesn't have to post anything at all about it, mate. He obviously spent quite a bit of time putting together the screenshots for this little tour. Also, you may have noticed the name of the topic is QUICK tour of Vista 5472. In other words, its a topic for skimming through and getting the major information about it, not an essay.

Beyond this, however, welcome to the forums. :D

I've been playing with Vista 5456 and it is really very good and stable. Even my PlayTV capturte card worked with minor probs. When i put my hands on 5472 and install it i will give my feedback here. Lets see if i can activate 5472 with the same key, i think it will be possible.

Looks great on my 1360 x 1024

This is one of the most beautiful vista wallpapers i've ever seen.

------------------------------------------
edit:

Just letting you know:

I installed with the same B2 key and activated normally.

I installed some stuff on 5472 x86 build and everything is working fine.

Nero Ultra Edition 6.6,
Office 2007,
CuteFTP Pro 7.2,
InterVideo WinDVD 7,
TrendMicro Security Suite 14 for Vista B2,
WinAce 2.61

I am having some probs with my PlayTV Capture card as i had with 5384/5456 but at least the hardware is installed, the prob is with HDTVR 2.5 and the remote control.

Now i will try to sleep a bit. See you tomorrow, Oh ! today later...
