scara, the only image i have atm is on the dvd i burned to, so i guess i'd have to copy it to a folder?

Yes, you could make a new image of the disk, but I'm pretty sure it will then generate new hashes for that image??, so no good really as you want to compare the image you burnt to that disk.

I ran the hash check on my iso , it wasn't even close......
