$100,000 offered to freely release iPhone unlocking software

Good Morning Guys? $100,000 usd and let's give it away to the world.. No issues with AT&T etc...

I have brought a few people on board from around the world. We all agree that the application software unlock should be released for free to the world. We have come up with a great offer for the 3-4 companies that are claiming that they have a software crack, and the legality is an issue.

AT&T will not be able to do anything if it’s freely released like HaRRo’s or Geo Hot’s tutorials. Let’s even release the source only. Something that can help all the people free their iphone.

We are willing to pay $100,000 USD and make it freely available with the owner’s approval and all the credits given to the creator. We will also give you control of a domain and release it on Wednesday night at 12:00am

..and then we have this!!

THE iPhone HAS BEEN TRADED...

Terry Daidone, the founder of Certicell contacted me this morning, and offered to make a trade for the iPhone. I traded it for a sweet Nissan 350Z and 3 8GB iPhones. I will be sending the iPhones, unlocked if they wish, to jpetrie(the first donater), gray(the reversing genius), and iProof(who is truly amazing at finding stuff online) Thanks a lot everyone. I leave for college tomorrow, and this has been a great end to a great summer. If I ever do anything more with the iPhone, it'll definitely be posted here. Also I contacted iphonesimfree and offered to verify on this blog their claims of a software unlock. No response yet...

Here is how to hardware unlock an iPhone:

So if you follow these steps, you should have an unlocked iPhone. I'm sorry about how hard they are to follow, but someone will get them to work, and simplify them, and simplify them more. Hopefully a software unlock will be found in the near future.

Probably a lot more on this to come. Do you think apple and AT&T can brick unlocked units with future updates??

and life goes on

Apple faces new class-action suit over locked iPhones

Approximately two weeks after purchasing his iPhone, Kliegerman traveled to Mexico for a week where he continued to use his iPhone to check emails and surf the web. He did so, according to the suit, after reading a statement on Apple's iPhone website stating that "[y]ou can browse the Internet and send emails as often as you like without being charged extra."

Upon returning from Mexico, Kliegerman claims to have received a bill from AT&T with $2,000 in international data roaming charges. Being a frequently traveler, he turned to the wireless carrier in order to obtain an unlock code for his iPhone, but was informed that such unlock codes would not be provided to him, according to the suit.

Kliegerman and his attorneys at Randall S. Newman, P.C argue that had AT&T allowed him to purchase and use a SIM card from a foreign wireless carrier, he would have been able to utilize iPhone internationally at fees substantially less than the $2,000 charged by AT&T. They note that AT&T has always provided unlock codes for non-iPhone handsets in the past when requested by a customer.

"As a result of [Apple's] deceptive and misleading acts, members of the Class have been injured because they are unable to unlock their phones for use with non-AT&T SIM cards," the suit states.
