Hey there....

Been doing folding work for the X64 Team for a bit and was wondering something..

I recently moved and have hooked up my desktop machine .. i was doing folding on my laptop.. and i got a rather large Core W/U and im not gonna be using my Laptop that much anymore .. and i was wondering if there ws a way to transfer the W/U info ( as in how much was done amd whats left to go ) to my desktop from my laptop.. as i really DONT want to mis finishing this particualr work unit..

Or im i just wishful thinking :headset: ..

maybe you can copy the "work" folder to your desktop system?

To my knowledge you can't do that. Sorry dude!! That would be nice if you could though!! Might as well let it run the rest of it out!

Yes, you can. Just stop the client and move the Work folder and queue.dat over to the other computer.

Edit:
I'm not sure, but you might also have to copy the core. (FahCore_whatever.exe)

kinda late, but I knew it would work, since I have my project run on Linux, but on a shared base with the occasional Windows boot
