Computers were once 16-bit, remember those days?

Well here we are already at 64bit.

MS have released their 64-bit version of XP, of Server and other Software makers are starting to look toward 64-bit, already it is taking center stage.

People worry that this upgrade means all new components, older Hard drives and Ram works fine at the minute, in some cases even some old boards will take both 32-bit and 64-bit.

Question is, who do you think makes this market what it is?

Actually id say the programmers. They force the hardware vendors to keep up with demand

id say hardware manufacturers, because if microsoft refuse to 64bit linux can vice-versa, and so it would be up to a FIELD in the IT industry, rather than a particular organisation

Both hardware manufacturers and the software vendors, they both use the checks and balances principle.
