i recently purchased a fortress (discontinued german made '97 fretted, wenge neck and fretboard) model from ebay, which will arrive this thursday. i really am a fan of warwick basses, great bang for the buck, and the sound... :scara:

i love the amoeba shape. but the sound is just to die for. i replaced the pickups and preamp with an alembic activator set. close to an upright acoustic bass sound, yet electric at the same time. i love the upright, and wanted the best of both worlds :scara: :bluerip:
