Yup, time to ditch the ATI sh1t and go back to what's best.

Had nothing but problems from day 1 since I got the 5970, along with the woeful driver support, its been one big headache.

This arrives tomorrow :sphere2:

EVGA Geforce GTX 580

Gonna have to run it on air for a while though until the waterblocks arrive, should be fun :)

Pics will follow soon.

Lucky... I had to go with a 5670 single slot for the dell optiplex to run Final Fantasy XIV.

As a once avid nvidia user I will NEVER go back to them. Having said that, good luck and I hope you enjoy the new hardware :sphere2:

Card been running great since install, no problems whatsoever :sphere2: Glad to be rid of that ATI driver mess and £ucked up system problems.

Temps on stock air cooler are as follows:

35c Idle
70c Load (normal gaming)
82c Furmark stability test after 1 hour

(no clocking or voltage changes)

Waterblock arrives Friday, gone for an EK one this time as Koolance blocks are far too nice looking to be shut away in a case lol.

Pics at weekend :)
