[Neon]

Although the successor of XP isn't due out for sometime, there has been many previews of many different things.

Metro: a new document format, the way MS intends to standardise the way documents and graphics are shared across multiple different platforms, on different levels.

Metro is quite an interesting project, not ONLY does it mean another part of the market, it's part of Microsoft's plan to DESTROY Adobe.

Acrylic is also another shot at the giant, look at it...although unfinished the Beta gave an insight into what was to come. It DID actually have Photoshop users looking over their shoulders at it...lets wait and see!
