I have been running XP 64 bit for about a week. One of the first things that scared me was that I was not sure what worked and what didn't. This is why I think it would be a good idea to compile a list of what works and what does not.

Please note the following: "Microsoft Windows XP 64-bit Edition was a version of Microsoft's Windows XP operating system designed to run on Intel Itanium family of microprocessors in their native 64-bit mode. It should not be confused with Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, which is designed for x86 processors supporting the x64 extensions."

So far I have tried and works.

Winamp 5.3
Nero Burning Rom 6
Office 2003
Get Right 6
U Torrent
MSN Live Messenger 8
Google Desktop Search (latest version)
WinRar (although does not intergrate into menu)
Cyberlink Power Dvd 6
Alcohol 52%
Ad Muncher
Clone DVD and CD
ISO Buster
CD Roller 6.1
DFX 8 for Winamp
Shareaza
M Power Player
Songbird 0.2

Games that work:

Need for Speed Most Wanted
Half Life 1 and 2
Counter Strike Source
War Craft 3
Grand Theft Auto, SA
Flight Sim 2004
Lego Starwars
Star Craft
Doom 3

So far thats all I have tried
