I get this error in my Xorg.log:

Anyone has a clue what's going wrong? it started with a non-existing SecurityPolicy file, which I fixed. But now, she still doesn't wanna start X.

Well... I get to after the KDE loading screen, and then it drops out right away back to the console.

I got the answer now, it's a problem with the graphics, which cannot be solved.

Thus, for now, I can run X normally, but the stability is very, very (and some more) scary... because she crashes pretty randomly!

sphere, what gpu are you using? and which wacom model?

It's a dedicated server frem the Compaq age, a Ipaq, P500, dunno what GPU (the graphics is a Intel i810 series).

The WaCom doesn't exist, I already disabled the loading of that, but by default, it wants to run it for some reason.

In xorg.conf, I've disabled all but what I use now, and so far it works, sorta... but still X and amaroK keeps crashing once in a while...

that's not good. my install ran great once i went with the default gpu driver. very stable...

I chose to re install, and now she's running fine again. I've backed up all logs before I reinstalled, and I was unable to find anything that would give me any clarification on why she kept crashing.

This really is/was a mystery, and I'm afraid it'll stay that way...
