Stirring the pot a little...OK mabe a lot... I posted on the new DFI Corporate forum headed by RG. Topic Title

ICFX3200-T2R/G Does this site tell the truth?

Body of the text and link....

Approx. 48hrs before the shut down of DFI-Street... HG posted that only the top 1% of all overclockers could take advantage of the options in this board and then it would take phase or better cooling to do better than a 3.6Ghz 24/7 OC on the Conroe of your choice. The other 99% can do just as well with the Infinity 975 G/X. RGone should be in the top 1% as even HG admitted his OC's will burn the hair off your girlfriends armpits. :davex:

Granted, the ICF has a slot for a Physics processor and possibly other advantages. Still based on past data of test boards, cooling and not the bios is the OC limitation. :yahoo: Please answer truthfully and don't delete this post. I've copied the text and link. Deletion will only prove this sight can't be trusted. Let an honest debate begin. The boards just hit Newegg Friday so I suspect a limited number of testers can respond at this point. Thanks for your indulgence. :yahoo:

Ditto. I didn't know that at least some of the staff at DFI-Street were paid employees of DFI. I thought DFI just paid them for advertisement. Doesn't sound like Happy_Games gets along with too many people at DFI. It's not surprising that they'd want to get rid of him. His unfavorable review might have just been the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.
