For anyone using Windows 7 64bit and an X-fi, the new Creative beta driver is corrupt. I did find a working version from a thread on their forum...but I'm too tired to find it right now. :cc_surrender: They should get that fixed soon.

I've upped a working set to Rapidshare for those who require them.

http://rapidshare.com/files/225978654/SBXF_W7DRVBTA_US_2_18_0013.rar

Tested and working by myself.

I had a trojan+virut+loadsofsh*t infectd computer that I had been trying to cluean up for about 2 weeks, I got tired of it so installed 7x86 (x64 was too slow downloading) on it yesterday. Had problems with my Wifi adapter of course (like I did in Vista at first) but then normal Vista x86 drivers wored without any issue! Seeing the beauty of this little thing, my bro tried to magically partition his HDD but only f*cked up the whole thing, so he got it installed too and is now having fun with speeh recognition lol... Going to install it today on our third computer, who got infected too...

Activation worked, everything runs like a charm, I love it. :cc_surrender: (except I can't get Iron to be the default browser)

Run Iron as 'administrator' and then set as default browser, settings will stick then. :giggle:

Still doesn't want to. Cliking on the "set as default" button in Iron's options does nothing. And when I go to Default Programs in Control Panel, it just doesn't show up in the list. Miscrosoft wants me to use IE :giggle: Not all that bad as I can still use it normally, it's just not the default browser. Maybe a future update from SR Ware.

hog, did you check out your md5 numbers for the iso? there have been reports of a trojan in the install exe of some torrents (there were so many ranging in varying sizes, that you never know...). there is a thread on neowin regarding this...

:cc_surrender: I checked my hash #'s out last nite with an app that Rik dropped a link to on skype last nite and they didn't match the official ms hash's. I'm thinkin that's why the marvell libertas wireless driver that windows update provides, worked great in beta 1 but only install and work in my copy of RC 7100 if u boot with F8 and choose the use unsigned drivers mode. Oh well I ain't reloadin until I get the official d/l from MS :giggle: avg, malware bytes, avast scans turn up nothing so ....................... :giggle:
