images/news/firefox.jpgMozilla has released Beta 3 of Firefox 3. The next milestone will be the Beta 4.

For those of you who want to try this out, do so at your own risk as this still a work in progress. Consider creating a new profile before trying to test this build. You can download it from Mozilla

I thought ram was cheap enough to get an additional gig... It will eat as much ram as addons you have.. Trying it now.. the full autocomplete like face book uses is nice.

They still haven't got that mem leak fixed yet??

I'd like to give it a try, highlander, what are your thoughts?

I've got it running here.

With six tabs open, it's using 75MB. I uninstalled 2.0 though, so I can't compare. A couple things I don't like are the theme in XP (looks better in Linux) and the lack of a Home button in the menu bar. They put it in the bookmarks toolbar and I always remove that. I also don't like the "autocomplete" in the address bar. If you type in one letter it displays every bookmark you have that contains that letter anywhere in its address. That's just stupid.

I have never had that issue with 10-12tabs open or multiple FFs....
