images/news/gaming.jpgIf you're one of the paying members of FilePlanet, a download site owned by Rupert Murdoch, you're in luck. Sort of.

EA is just one of the publishers that likes receiving income for offering exclusive downloads of various versions of its software, and this time around it's on EA's upcoming mega-hit, Crysis.

The Crysis Multiplayer demo is available to a selective bunch of Fileplanet subscribers. As usually happens, keys are being served on first-come, first-served basis, and the first batch of keys disappeared into thin air. There will be a grand total of four key batches, with three being marked as "coming soon." This marketing scheme is successful in creating decent revenue for something that used to be free, but if you want to play Crysis now, you are going to get milked all the way.
