I've found it to more stable with SP1, but it still drives me freaking crazy every time I boot it up

Care to explain why??? maybe we can help you... As of now.. my system boots a lot faster with SP1.
I am wondering if 1840 or refresh 2 is still "tagged" as rtm.

Vista is just bloated, cluttered, sends itself in unnecessary circles, lacs proper execution of many basic core functions that Personal Computing is all about
Not to mention
If I were on Vista ATM, I would most likely be asked if this is really what I meant to say, and then asked for permission, to let myself say it
(this wonderful feature is disabled, but does the average person gain some sense of security from it)
Vista more or less works as it was written to work, and that is what makes using it (for me) the most frustrating

Yup!........rid ones system of junk.
I'll keep it, it has it's own HDD, and my system is not bothered by it at all, unless I choose to boot it up
For better or worse, I seem to have a need to use it, just for the sake of knowing what it's all about
