Personally even though I do not live in USA I was hoping that he would win. Congratulations Obama!

I'll supply a nice contrast to Banjo's inevitable (he seems to be writing as make this post) thought out, well worded, and point driven message.

"Yup"

I am glad.

Admins/Mods--did we ever come to a consensus about political posts on this site? I remember the thread in which it was discussed but I don't remember if a rule ever came down. Just curious.

i think it would have turned to muck via members joining just to use it as a soapbox, and google would end up referencing us by hideous racial, sexual and propagandists bleating. would be good for a laugh though...

I'm probably most glad that it's over with.

I feel we needed a change,

Now, Like in 1960 and 1980 with Kennedy and Reagan there is allot of hope and enthusiasm back in this country and that is the only way we will be able to get out of this recession and regain the respect in the world that we deserve.

To that end yes, I am glad that he won.

As for him winning?, well, Scarey 1 beat Scarey 2, I don't think it will matter in the long run. :giggle:
