I want a new cooler for my eVGA videocard.

The requirements I have:
Rear Exhaust Heatsink
Auto-fanspeed controlled by card
Got to be very silent, preferably fanless if possible?

And offcourse, I want it to be easy to mount, I'm not a surgeon! (Although I am a BsC of Science in Applied Physics  )

Any tips?
I was thinking to get me that huge-a$$ ThermalTake thing, fanless, but it's kinda pricey.

Not worth doing unless going water cooling IMO, yeah you will gain a few clocks, but were only talkin 2-5FPS on air :clarky:

Weigh up the cost and hassle vs a new faster card than what u got?

260/4870/4890 cards are as cheap as MO's wife these days lol

 ok S , much like the cpu-hsf approach. 1st unplug the fan from the vga card header, you may have to find an old fan with a mobo type 3 pin plug and extra wire for reach. Connect the vga fan wires to the wire/plug you salvaged, plug it into mobo header that is controlled in the bios h/w monitor set fan speed to 50-75%, whatever mellows it out db-wise and you're done. :clarky:

The rattling sound is at every speed  the VGA-card has it's own completely working fan-speed controller based on temperature :clarky:
