I love the microsoft antispyware. I have used it countless times on my machines and friends machines, it seems to do the job quite good. It does slow the computer down a little while it is scanning, but thats understandable. The thing with viruses and spyware, i dont think it really picks up viruses, but it will pick up trojans, which can actually be placed in both categories. Cause a trojan can give remote access to others. I think its a good app.

Unless you run x64. For some reason, Webroot made some changes between the 4.0 and 4.5 versions that make the current release incompatible with XP x64. Webroot's response is "SpySweeper has not been tested to work with XP x64. Sorry."

Well, not many apps work at all on x64... :P
