Not to take away from these guys as they have done an amazing job, but if you'd like you can check out this sidebar it's not exactly vista style but that is easily fixable so long as you have paint or something a little more high powered. You can add gadgets, remove them, has a weather option, IM options, even put your system tray in it, auto hide it, transparency, you can change the clock skin... give it a look. You can even create your own skins.

Maybe in a few months these guys cna STOMP the Desktop Sidebar, I'd like to see that.

The sidebar appeals to a certain club, you either like it or you don't.

There were over 400 downloads of this in a few days from here, as for the repack it'll be for folks who wanna play around with their current setup, not for people who didn't like the actual sidebar originally.

This sidebar IS the Vista one ported to XP, not an imitation.

Yeah, I enjoy the Sidebar. Im working on a different type setup for it though. Im configuring it into a .msi file, so you do not have to unzip it. Make it look more professional. Everyone Enjoy.

Ah yeah. This sidebar could be part of that Windows XP Guide were doing.

Plenty of sites have the sidebar. As long as we keep it low key we'll be ok.
Distributing anything from Vista is illegal, anything from DLL files to screensavers or anything.

Thats true. Lots of stuff is illegal, that people do everyday. Speeding is a major thing I do a lot LOL. Its just cause its in the tech field, that you are more focused on the certain programs and things like that.
