the nVidia drivers are base-supported. Basically, they're part of the intergrated nForce 2+ support in the kernel... so, they work out of the box so to speak

Ok thanks I will have to try it

Ok I downloaded the new Sabayon DVD, 3gbs an I get the same problem I got with the previous version
after it detects hardware an goes to boot I get a blank screen, I tried with one monitor an with 2. here is a short video watch the lighted dot at the bottom when its green the monitor has vid signal when it goes amber there is not signal. I let it sit for 3 hours after just hoping the vid would come in. but no go. It is too big to attach here so here is a link to it

I tried with vga=nofb, I looked at the other options an they were scarce I tried in safemode which tried to work but just gave me a limited desktop that didnt work on anything. I tried no gui, that worked fine, but when I tried startx it did the same thing.

I think you should try the option "acpi=off" or "noapic"

Most probably acpi=off should work....
