Vista 5536 Problem

When im trying to install this build to a second partition on my sata hd, when it comes to copying windows files it goes to 100% straight away, then moves onto expanding files and stays at 0% any help?

Running on.

P4 3.00ghz
MSI 661FM3-V Motherboard
Seagate Barracuda 160gb sata
MSI DVD-RW
Nvidia fx5200 128mb

Can you give more information like what speed you burnt the iso, Program you used ect?

how long have you left it at "0"? it can take a bit before it moves on.

its ok guy's sorted it now i dont use my sata drivers and it worked so must of been something to do with drivers

alright :rofl: yeah, i was suprised to find my raid drivers updated during install. i guess they have included a bit more this time. gotta love it B)

yeah, I had problems getting mine to work on my sata's as well! But after a little help from M.oreilly we got it working! Now I am up and running and very happy!!

I just wish I could somehow get x64 and vista to run with linux grub boot loader thingy. Will have to work on that one. Anyone know how to do this!?

ok I installed 5536 all went good then it said it was restoreing to xp
I was sooooo mad

Thanks for the advice, just pm'd him to see if he has done it or not! If I get it working maybe I will make a little how to guide or something.

I got 2 choices and it went to vista stopped, and said that was restoring to xp

thats just my luck !!! Im trying to do a install again.. Im at completing upgrade as I speak ( on the wifes computer) well instead of re posting im editing VISTA went in
