Counter Strike, its free to download but u need a CD key from a halflife CD.

I like Quake online the best. If you take the console section, I think one of the most fun games to play over the net is NCAA Football 2006.

Unreal Tournament, which I have been playing for 5 years online already, and World of Warcraft, which I have just started playing recently.
