Wow this sucks. All the other releases I've tried out have had no problems at all, yet this one cant find drivers for my:

Ethernet Card
Soundcard

and a bunch of other things. So I'm stuck with no internet access so I cant even try and find drivers online.....WTF!!

Anyone have any idea what I can do? What happened to the built in driver that had worked for my ethernet card all this time?

I am beyond pissed off.

Any help appreciated.

Firstly the new builds have great compability wizards. Try the XP versions of your driver on it running in XP compability mode and then if it still fails a new wizard should appear.

If you mean my CD, I dont have it....this card is very old. And my soundcard is a soundblaster...I'll see if I find my CD for it.

Thanks for the fast reply.

O.K I got my ethernat card working by chosing the driver manually...I did an edicated guess and it worked :)

I downloaded the live! drivers and am installing them as I type this. I hope it works!

Yup I got everything to work now.

Is it just me or did they disable priority switching in processes tab in the task manager? It says access denied whenever I try and change priority.
