No one would do it, as XP runs well on PC, and it costs a lot, but if OSX will run on PC...would XP run on a Mac PC...

COME ON...ALL YELL AT MY n00b QUESTION :lol:

no... no yelling about that... but WHY, *e-smack* don't disgrace a windows operating system with such a degrading remark :lol:.

Naa just messing... I don't know really, never thought about it like that... anyone know of someone that's tried it/succeded at it?

Most likely, XP would not run on a PPC Mac. The biggest difference between the x86 and PPC platforms is that x86 uses CISC (complex instruction set computing), whereas PPC uses RISC (reduced instruction set computing). It is actually much easier to port RISC to CISC than vice-versa, due to the fact that many API calls on the CISC level do not have RISC equivalents. There is one exception to this - Virtual PC for Mac v. 7.0 comes with XP Pro and costs $229.
