its quite cool. allows for 4 desktops, and you can cycle through them smoothly with the mouse. it arranges the desktops in a cube. check it out! :chriso:

how do you mean? i just downloaded the program and ran it. the default hotkey is ctrl shift

plus the options are in french. can't change it.

doesn't work all the time, but got it to move. not quite "beryl like", but fun (using it in vista 32bit).

Doesn't the nVidia drivers still offer desktop profiles which would offer the same thing but with less overhead due to it being part of the drivers feature set? Sorry if I am rainging on someones parade but I just figure why add a resource drain if it isn't needed you know.

it got a lot of "cool' and wow" comments from the family (which had also seen beryl in action). yeah, it would be cool if hardware bound (maybe MS will offer a similar gui enhancement, as ubuntu et al gain more popularity...), but fun none the less :chriso:

i know :chriso: it is one of, if not the main reason (security issues, or lack thereof, aside) i like to play with desktop oriented linux...

me too :rofl: yeah, i'd like to try the app in xp, 'cause i think vista is having an issue with the resizing, etc.
